Henry

What a cute little guy Henry is, with 101 expressions!

And here's one of my personal favorites from his session- isn't he just a little doll?

Lulu & Daisy

Some kids are just too darn cute!

Aren't those eyes just to *die* for?

I hope I didn't start a bad habit when I suggested jumping on the bed!

Summer fun

We spent a bit of time at the lake this summer, and here are some of the highlights!

Note the "fruit and donut kabobs" (courtesy of my sister) and one of the two fish that Bea caught without using any bait. Also a rousing game of "keep-away", jumping off the raft, playing on the beach, making s'mores and the always required nap by the campfire!

Angela & TJ

I tend to go to the same places for engagment shoots, so it was fun to go somewhere new with Angela and TJ. We hiked around the Arboretum in Madison, and as long as we stayed out of the woods where the bugs tried to eat us, it was a great place to go! Keep an eye out for their wedding pictures next summer!

Kari- class of '08

Back to Katie's garden again, this time for senior pictures with Kari. We unfortunately were there at the same time as a gardening club who had taken over the gazebo, but we got a chance at it while they were enjoying the flowers. And I had a willing sport to get into the creek, which always makes my day!

Congrats Morgan & Jason!

I'm still catching up on posting, but I'm catching up! This gorgeous wedding was in Richland Center. A bit farther than usual for me, but way worth it!

It was a gorgeous day, bright and sunny, but not too hot. Really great for mid-July. We stopped at a park between the wedding and reception for some couples pictures by the pond.

It's all going to the birds...

For those of you who have been to my house recently you already know this, but I thought I'd make it public.

Our house is now completely run by three small birds.

Yes, Boojie, Fifi and Snyper have completed their conquest and now do whatever and go wherever they wish.

You've been warned...

sports, sports, sports, sports

Just sharing a few from the girls' soccer and baseball games this year. They both had good seasons and are already waiting for next summer to play again!

You can tell Hillary takes baseball VERY seriously.

Bea did a lot of playing catcher this year... you can tell it's her by the long dark braid!

This is one of my favorite soccer pictures this year.

She played goalie a lot this year too. I guess she likes the high-pressure positions!

Hilly was on the travel team this year, which was hard since her games overlapped Bea's a lot, but we got it covered somehow.

Welcome to the world Sam

Congrats to Jamie and Greg!

Congrats Judy and Justin!

A lucky 7/7/07 wedding for Judy and Justin in Dubuque, with the reception at the Mississippi River Museum. What a cool place for a reception!

The cabin in the left of the background here used to bleong to the groom's family, so we had to get it in some pictures.

And Mark Twain stopped by with a few thoughts on the happy day!

As always, a shot of some yummy looking food...

Happy 2nd birthday Albie!

A very happy birthday to my silly nephew Albie- with love from Aunt Banana!

Congrats Laura and Andy!

Another wonderful couple, and another gorgeous outdoor wedding! This was at Bethel Horizons in Dodgeville. The fabulous view behind them during the ceremony is Governor Dodge State Park. And get a load of the pretty pink cupcakes!

Congrats Julie and Edward!

It's been crazy here lately and I'm about a month behind posting here, so I'll try to catch up over the next few days.

This wedding is Julie and Edward and was held at the beautiful Ramada in Galena Illinois. The weather was gorgeous (so was the bride), the wedding party was a lot of fun and it was a wonderful day!
